I was born & raised in LittlefieId, TX.  Where It was so “flat there you could watch your dog run away for a couple days!”  My Family worked every year, so we could spend a week vacationing at our cabin in Tres Ritos, NM.  It was there that I developed a love for the mountains, so after 2 years of basics at Texas Tech University, I transferred to Stephen F. Austin University and received a Bachelor Degree in forestry.  After graduation, I lucked into a job with New Mexico Forestry Division as a District Forester and worked for 20 years in the prime mountain & ranch lands of northern NM.

     After the forestry, I was the ranch manager for a 29,000 acre cattle, hunting & fishing ranch for 5 years.   It was here, I developed a good working knowledge & hands-on experience in ranch management for range, forest, wildlife and recreational uses of the land.

     In 1995 when I entered the real estate profession, these experiences gave me a unique opportunity to facilitate and assist in the sales of over $100 million in ranch sales.  I have also sold many houses, condos & lots.
